Dr Imran Ismail was raised in South Florida as the eldest son of first generation immigrant parents. He spent his youth with his three younger sisters navigating and excelling in the public school system while helping with the family business in his spare time. He was highly recruited out of High school and went on to attend the Honors College at the University of South Florida in Tampa. 

Dr Ismail elected to attend Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine due to their emphasis on whole-person care and osteopathic principles. When he returned to the Tampa Bay area for internship, Dr Ismail was appointed as Chief Intern. During his Internal Medicine Residency, he was selected as Chief Resident. He went on to complete Cardiology Fellowship where he was once again appointed Chief Fellow. During his academic tenure, Dr Ismail was voted by his peers as Resident Instructor of the Year for 3 consecutive years. 

Dr Ismail joined Florida Medical Clinic in 2017 and was named Chief of Interventional Cardiology at AdventHealth Zephyrhills in just 2 years.

Outside of work, Dr Ismail spends time with his beautiful wife and two young sons. He enjoys competing in league basketball, restoring his 1974 Corvette, and reading.

With a fabulous talent for personable care, attention to detail and an exhaustive knowledgebase, Stefanie Caggiano joined Dr Ismail at Florida Medical Clinic in 2018. She has a keen interest in Preventative Cardiology, Congestive Heart Failure, Peripheral Vascular Dieasdr, Mind-body wellness and Women’s Cardiovascular Care.

Stefanie was born in Long Island, New York and raised in Spring Hill, Florida. She enjoys yoga, traveling and canoeing with her dog.

Amairani has been working with Dr Ismail since 2017 and is a critical team member who is incredibly attentive to our patients needs. Her friendly demeanor helps keep our patients comfortable and feel welcome.

Ashlee is the smiling, last face you see when you leave our office. Her organizational skills are in full display as she schedules our patients procedures and follow ups while coordinating with Dr Ismails complicated schedule.

Iris, our office manager, ensures that the entire operation runs smoothly. Her expertise, patience and management are the glue that holds our practice together.
